Job Description:

This field based position in the Chicago area provides on-site and remote installation, training, data interfacing, and support to customers for our enterprise LIMS systems and associated informatics products.  As an important contibuting team member of our Professional Services team you will work independently or under the guidance of our project managers to meet customer implementation goals.   
 
Primary duties include:
·         Preparation of the customer site for data system deployment in accordance with the products pre-installation protocols.
·         Installation and configuration of our software and associated products on the customer’s server and workstations.   
·         Training of the users and system administrators on the use and management of the system.
·         Completion of industry standard system qualification document sets for the site.
·         Resolution of technical issues reported by users on site or remotely in a timely efficient manner.  
·         Ensures customer satisfaction and implementation goals are met independently or under the guidance of a project manager.
·         Provides technical support to field based sales intiative when needed.
 Job Requirements : Qualifications:
·         3 - 5 years of experience in the laboratrory informatics services business. 
·         A strong working knowledge of laboratory information workflow, GLP, and compliance needs.  
·         At least one of Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server administration experience.
·         The ability to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
·         Citrix, VMWare, MS Server, VB.Net and VBA experience is highly desireable. 
·         The ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  
Education:
·         BS in Chemistry, Computer Science, or Informatics.
