Job Description:

Develop software for medical information and imaging products
•
Design, implement, test, and document applications that use Microsoft and other industry standard technologies, meeting the requirements established for a given project.
•
Follow internal processes and procedures
•
Investigate and resolve reported defects
•
Work closely with other staff members to coordinate assignments and communicate status and/or difficulties.
•
Participate in department specific and project-wide meetings.
•
Ability to work independently, provide input, solutions and recommendations.
•
Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
•
BS or BE in computer related field.
•
At least 7 years experience in object oriented implementation, in a Microsoft Windows environment, to include at least 5 years product development experience.
•
Specific technical skills
•
Proficient in .NET, Silverlight, WPF, C#
•
Knowledge of XML and related technologies, such as XSL, XPATH
•
Knowledge of COM, ATL
•
Knowledge of C++
•
Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript
•
Experience in User Interface Development
•
Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Design
•
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills.
•
Strong software development discipline.
•
Assertive team player with demonstrated initiative.
•
Ability to work independently, with general direction from supervisor
•
Ability to meet deadlines.
Desired:
•
MS in Computer Science
•
Knowledge of Microsoft web server technologies including ISAPI, IIS configuration and authentication.
•
Software development experience in the healthcare industry, especially medical informatics, RIS or PACS.
