Job Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:
•	Qualified candidates must have 5+ years of experience delivering technical projects
•	Must have a proven track record of working with technical teams focused on architecting, designing, implementing, delivering and supporting large-scale software services and platforms 
•	Must be familiar with Rapid Application Development (RAD) and Agile/Scrum methodologies in addition to classical SDLC/Waterfall
•	Previous experience managing projects involving 3rd party service providers is a plus
•	Strong technical and project management background. Should be able to lead and manage RAD projects involving highly technical resources
•	Experience in managing the project work streams to ensure tight deadlines and close monitoring
•	Ability to travel an average of 25%

KNOWLEDGE:  
•	Must have excellent product and project management skills and demonstrated technical aptitude 
•	Formal training and execution experience with program management or proven equivalent experience 
•	Software development program/project management experience, preferably in an RAD and/or Agile methodology (Scrum, XP, etc.)
•	Knowledge of databases and ETL tools and concepts is a big plus

COMMUNICATION  
•	Must be able to converse effectively with architects and software engineers – applied technical experience a plus
•	Possess exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.  
•	Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal skills, coupled with ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise is required. 
 
SKILLS
•	Must be an independent problem solver that can make high quality judgments and decisions quickly with excellent organization skills
•	Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
•	Must have excellent communication and assertive skills to manage teams spread across multiple locations and involving third party solution providers
•	Influencing others who are not in your reporting chain
•	Must be a quick learner, able to come up to speed on any type of technical project and credibly lead and direct technical resources in the project team as needed
•	Ability to manage third party solution providers effectively 
•	Ability to view a set of projects holistically in order to identify impending areas of conflict or failure is a required skill

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION
•	An undergraduate degree is required and Masters Degree is preferred in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering. Computer Science or Engineering degree highly preferred.
•	PMP certification is desirable
